What is Derma?

Microneedling creates small traumas in the skin and pushed the products into the top layer of skin. The skin then heals itself and you get the added benefits of this amazing Derma products.

Whats the aftercare?

In most cases your skin will be red and flushed and feel like a very mild sunbun for 24 hours. 

Please do not wash with anything except tepid water for 48 hours afterwards

No retinol or acids for a week before and none for 2 weeks after

It feels scratchy but nothing most people cant handle and the benefits outweigh 24 hours of warm skin. 

I will give you some repair cream to use over the next 2 days. 

After this I recommend a perfume free cleanser and moisturiser from 48 hours onwards. I do stock creams please ask if unsure. Most high street brands are full of chemicals and I do not recommend these after having microneedling. 

For 2 days afterwards - no hot showers, swimming, intense cardio, tattooing

No spray tanning 2 weeks

 

Before your treatment

Wait 3 months post facial surgery

6-12 months post roaccutane

Laser wait 2 weeks 

Chemical peels 2 weeks

Botox - 2 weeks

Filler 2 weeks

No Retinol the week before 

 

Stop taking a week before fish oil, ginseng, retinoids, topical antibiotics, ibruprofen
