When looking for a botox practitioner around Poole and Bournemouth its hard to know where to go when there is so many practioners. To be honest being a nurse or doctor doesn't make you better at botox. I would look at people's reviews and ask friends for recommendations. We all undertake the same training for botox at the same places. It's not something they teach in the NHS.
If you decide Im the person for you then I can promise I will take great care to ensure you are happy and you can always message me after treatment to discuss any concerns your having.
Number one on my list is to avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before and definitely no alcohol the day of your treatment.
As with all injectables it's important to stay hydrated by drinking loads of water leading up to your appointment. Botox works much better in hydrated skin.
Do not rub the skin after botox you just have to let it settle down on its own. The only thing I would recommend is taking Arnica if your prone to bruises.
You need to avoid exercise and getting sweaty for 24 hours after treatment.
Eating food rich in bromelain can also help prevent bruising as it has anti inflammatory enzymes. Some people are just prone to bruising especially in the delicate area around the eyes.
